- Everlite Enduro kits feature ultrasteel locking bars. The bars offer a free span capability of 4m and provide exceptional strength.
- Enduro achieves a U-value of 1.85W/m2K – offering better thermal insulation than standard double-glazed units.
- The panel system was tested in accordance with BS476: Part 3:1958. The method of test used for all roofing materials.
Requirements B4 of schedule 1 to the Building Regulations 1991 states:
“The roof of the building should resist the spread of fire over the roof and from one building to another, having regard to the use and position of building”.
- Approved Document B, Section 14 recognises the use of plastics and sets out limitations on their use in Table 18.
- The PVC-u Everlite panel system achieved a Class 2 fire rating when tested in accordance with BS476: Part 7 and as a result cannot be classified as TP (a) rigid and would be subject to the limitations of a TP (b) material.
Everlite Enduro has certain restrictions placed upon it because of the Class 2 rating for internal fire spread, not because of its AAX designation. In practical terms, PVC-U Everlite has a maximum working temperature of 60 degrees C. |
